Abstract:Multiple metal mineral deposits has been identified in Beishan metallogenic belt in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, such as Heiyingshan large scale iron deposit, Elegenwulanula copper-molybdenum polymetallic deposit, Wuzhuergashun iron-copper deposit, Xiaohulishan medium-sized molybdenum deposit and Dulongbao molybdenum deposit. The study area is located in "Ejina-Yagan metallogenic belt" and "Tianshuijing-Wuzhuergashun gold, copper polymetallic, and high-grade iron ore prospecting area" of Beishan metallogenic belt with similar metallogenic geological conditions. In order to clarify the enrichment characteristics of Cu, Au, Co and other metals in the study area, geochemical rock measurements have been carried out to perform geological statistical analysis, such as cluster analysis and factor analysis on relevant ore-forming elements. It is showed that Cu, Au, Co anomalies in the area are large in scale, with high peak values, obvious enrichment characteristics and concentration centers, and good correlation of relevant elements. Through trench engineering and geochemical profiling, anomaly verification has been carried out. The analysis results of Cu, Au, Co and other elements in the collected samples can match well with the anomaly characteristics. There is great potential for searching for Cu, Au, Co and other hydrothermal element deposits or mineralized bodies in the structural fracture zone of this area.
