Abstract:Pingyi county in Shandong province is known as the "Hometown of Honeysuckle in China". In order to investigate the content and distribution characteristics of nutrients and heavy metal elements in the soil in main honeysuckle producing area in Pingyi county, evaluate soil nutrients and soil environmental quality, and delineate the distribution areas of green food production areas, through soil geochemical surveys with the scale of 1∶50 000 and experimental testing, a suitability evaluation of green planting in main production area of Pingyi honeysuckle has been carried out. Most of the elements in the surface soil in the study area have low background levels, with N, SOM, Cd, and Hg being significantly lower. The enrichment factors are less than 0.8. As, Cr, and Pb are slightly lower, with enrichment factors ranging from 0.8 to 0.9. Only the content of Cu is at a higher level, with an enrichment factor ranging from 1.1 to 1.3. The soil nutrients in the study area are of medium level, which is relatively suitable for planting high quality honeysuckle. The overall environmental quality of the study area is good without risk. The enrichment of Cu in the study area is relatively obvious, with an enrichment factor of 1.30. There is a high possibility of natural sources overlapping with anthropogenic sources. The enrichment factors of other heavy metal elements range from 0.57 to 0.95. It is indicated that their sources are mainly natural. The agricultural land in the study area is mainly used for green food production, and the area is 435.22 km2. It will provide a geological foundation for the development of green agriculture in main honeysuckle production area.
