Abstract:Based on the investigation project of surface matrix layers in ZhangqiuZouping area in Shandong province, the application effect of comprehensive logging technology in the stratification of surface matrix layers has been introduced. By measuring the logging parameters, such as apparent resistivity, natural gamma, and natural potential in the well, the shale content in the formation has been comprehensively calculated, and the thickness of the surface matrix layers has been stratified. The main functions of three measurement parameters have been summarized. Apparent resistivity is mainly used to divide strata, lithology and aquifers and determine their thickness. Natural gamma is mainly used to determine the shale content of the formation. Combining with other methods, the aquifer, lithology and the degree of fracture development have been deternined. The natural potential is mainly used to judge the lithology and divide the permeable layer, and to estimate the shale content with natural gamma logging. It is showed that the above three logging parameters in the comprehensive logging technology cooperate with each other, and the calculated shale content curve can be used for fine interpretation of the formation. It can be popularized and applied in the investigation of surface matrix layers in similar areas. It will provide support for the establishment of technical method system of the investigation of surface matrix layers.
