Abstract:Accompanying with the development of the construction of 3D real scene in China, the reconstruction and updating of large scale real 3D models has become an urgent demand. The characteristics of its large modeling area, heterogeneous model results, and multi-scale have made scene splicing and fusion an urgent problem to be solved. In this paper, from the aspects of establishing spatial engineering with overlapping images and control points, and integrating spatial engineering with the same control points, the method of implementing 3D scene stitching from data processing has been explored. The applicability of three methods has been tested and compared through experiments. It can solve the problem of large scale 3D model stitching and promotes the efficient and high quality construction of real 3D scenes.
