Abstract:Shallow groundwater is one of the important water resources. It is closely related to human production and life. Based on ecological geochemical survey project, shallow groundwater in Tengzhou city has been investigated at a density of 1 point in 16km2. 95 groundwater samples have been collected, and 35 indicators, such as Fe and Mn have been analyzed. It is showed that the overall quality of shallow groundwater in the study area is good, and the contents of 21 indicators, such as pH, CN , Cr6+, and total dissolved solids basically meet the threshold values specified in the "Groundwater Quality Standard" (GB/T 14848—2017) for class Ⅲ groundwater, which is suitable for centralized domestic drinking water sources and industrial and agricultural water use. The main factors affecting the quality of shallow groundwater in the study area are Fe and total hardness, which are caused by the primary geological environment and human activities. The research results can provide fundamental data and decision-making basis for economic and social development and water safety in the study area.
