Abstract:Underground brine is not only an important source of table salt, but also rich in dozens of chemical elements such as Br, Bi, Sr, Li, K, Ba, etc. It is an important mineral resource. The underground brine (salt, bromine) mines in Shandong province are mainly distributed in strips along the Yellow River Delta plain area along the Bohai Bay, the southern plain area of Laizhou Bay, and the northwest coast of Jiaozhou Bay, with a distribution area of approximately 3003.11 km2. The inferred resource amount is 807734.3×104m3, and the recoverable amount is 28721.9×104m3/a. The development of underground brine resources in Shandong province has a long history, mainly using bromine salt co production to recover salt and bromine resources. The development process includes brine → bromine → raw salt, brine → bromine → raw salt → bittern recovery → salt chemical products. At present, all enterprises engaged in the development and utilization of underground brine type bromine ore resources are located in Weifang city, with a total of 51 production enterprises. This work used methods such as data collection, statistical analysis, and comprehensive research to evaluate the development and utilization level of mining enterprises. The average recovery rate is 77.9%, which overall met the minimum three rate index requirements of the department. However, there are 26 mines with bromine mines with an average recovery rate of 75.2%, indicating a low recovery rate. By conducting correlation analysis on the factors affecting the recovery rate, a fitting equation was established for the concentration of incoming bromine ions and the concentration of tail liquid bromine ions. It is believed that controlling the concentration of incoming bromine ions at 140g/m3 and the concentration of tail liquid bromine ions at 25~30g/m3 is beneficial for improving the utilization level of bromine ore and reducing resource waste. At the same time, suggestions are put forward for efficient utilization of resources and strengthening supervision.
