Abstract:In the southern margin of Jiaolai basin, a large number of gold, lead and zinc polymetallic deposits (spots) have been found. Except for typical hidden explosion breccia type Wulian-Qibaoshan gold and copper deposit, other deposits are developed along the fault, which are mainly quartz vein type mineralization with hydrothermal deposit characteristics. Polymetallic gold, lead and zinc deposits have been found in Gaojiazhaike area, which are distributed in the NNW and SN fault dominated by Gaoling fault. However, due to the lack of understanding of metallogenic regularity and mineralization, the prospecting progress in this area is slow. Therefore, in this study, the alteration minerals are mainly composed of Illite, muscovite, chlorite, kaolinite, montmorillonite and siderite were identified in this area through shortwave infrared spectroscopy, and the alteration minerals mainly consisted of areal sericite (Illite+Muscovite). The distribution area of high IC value and low Pos2200 absorption peak value of sericite minerals has a good correlation with the trend of NNW to near SN fault and sericite alteration belt. Combining with the existing metallogenic facts, it is considered that the NNW and near SN fault dominated by Gaoling fault in the area is closer to hydrothermal center. At the same time, the distribution area of abnormal high IC value and very low Pos2200 absorption peak in the sericite alteration belt also has the possibility of mineralization.
