Abstract:There are strong activities since late Quaternary in Juxian basin in AnqiuJuxian fault By using hydraulic fracture method, ground stress test of this fault has been carried out. According to the analysis of ground sress test results, it is regarded that ground sress in the area is dominated by tectonic stress, and the ground stress structure is maximum horizontal principal stress(SH)> least horizontal principal stress (Sh )> Vertical stress (Sv). It is easy to cause the strikeslip movement of the fault, and most of the test area is high ground stress area——extremely high ground stress area. At the same time, the Coulomb friction sliding criterion is used to analyze the stability of the fault. It is considered that the ground stress test value of Juxian basin in AnqiuJuxian fault does not reach the critical value of fault sliding.
