Abstract:On the basis of fully collecting regional geology, geothermal geology, structural geology, geothermal well completion report and geothermal remote sensing interpretation data in Shandong province, survey on present condition of geothermal field in Shandong province,and geothermal remote sensing interpretation with the scale of 1∶500000 have been carried out. According to the degree of data collection, a method for calculating the geothermal gradient has been put forward, and geothermal gradient of the whole study area has been calculated. The distribution rules of geothermal gradients in various geothermal areas have been evaluated, and the factors affecting the distribution of geothermal fields have been analyzed from the following aspects, such as geotectonics, bedrock fluctuations, magmatic activity, stratigraphic lithology, fault structures, and groundwater activity. The relationship between shallow geothermal fields and deep structures has been discussed, and the distribution characteristics of geothermal gradients in various regions of the study area have been summarized.
