Abstract:In recent years, several gold deposits have been discovered in the southern segment of the fault in Daxiazhi fault in Qixia in Jiaodong area. In this paper, geological characteristics of gold deposits in the study area have been described from the characteristics of alteration zone and the spatial distribution of ore bodies according to the results of exploration work for many years. The ore-controlling factors are analyzed and summarized from the trinity of strata, magmatic rocks and structures. Through analysis and comparison with typical deposits, it is concluded that gold deposits in this area belong to structural alteration rock type, and the gold deposits are most closely related to silicification, sericitization and pyritization. Based on the understanding of the source of ore-forming materials, migration, precipitation and enrichment of ore-forming fluid, the origin of gold deposit in Daxiazhi fault has been summarized, metallogenic model has been established, and some suggestions for further prospecting have been put forward.
