Abstract:Collapses in eatern Beimingcun villae in Zhangqiu district in Ji'nan city has the characteristics of large height difference, long time span and huge damage. In July 2021, there were several local collapses. It had destroyed many houses and caused serious harm to lives and property of local people. From the aspects of present condition of collapse development, according to field investigation, engineering drilling and pit exploration, characteristics of collapse have been comprehensively studied. According to the internal conditions of slope rock and soil characteristics and external factors, such as rainfall and plant root splitting, the formation mechanism of geological disasters has been studied comprehensively. According to the circular arc stability analysis by using Bishop method, the slope stability coefficient is calculated as Fs=0.998<1.0. The slope is in an unstable state. Several geological disaster prevention and control countermeasures have been discussed in order to provide some references for the treatment of similar geological disasters, they are avoidance and relocation, engineering treatment, group survey and prevention, and automatic monitoring.
