Abstract:Strengthening the prevention and control of natural disasters is related to national economy and the people's livelihood. The area of Yantai city is 13864.5km2. By the end of 2020, there are 405 potential geological hazard points in total, including collapse, landslide, debris flow, karst collapse and goaf collapse, accounting for about 1/5 of the total number of the province. Based on the verification data of geological disasters in Yantai city in 2020, present condition and loss of geological disasters have been summarized. By using comprehensive risk index method of geological disasters, zoning of geological hazard susceptibility in Yantai city has been carried out, and the highprone, mediumprone, lowprone and nonprone areas are divided. Combining with national economic and social development plan of Yantai city, geological disaster prevention and control area of the whole city is divided into key prevention and control area, sub key prevention and control area and general prevention and control area. Specific prevention and control suggestions are put forward for different districts, which will provide a basis for the prevention and control of geological disasters in Yantai city.
