Abstract:In situ UPb age of 91500, GJ1, TEMORA1, Pleovice and Qinghu standard zircons are analyzed by using Neptune Plus multicollectorinductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry (MCICPMS) and 193nm laser ablation, with the laser frequency being 2Hz and laser ablation spot size being 24μm. It is showed that the206Pb/238U weighted average ages of standard zircons are (1062.3±4.3) Ma(2σ,n=21), 604.8±3.1 Ma (2σ,n=20), (418.3±1.6) Ma(2σ,n=27), (337.3±1.3) Ma(2σ,n=28), (159.86±0.64) Ma(2σ,n=28). The precision of measured Pb/U ratios is about 2% (2σ), and the relative deviation (2σ) of weighted average age are all smaller than 0.5%. Five zircons 91500, GJ1, TEMORA1, Pleovice and Qinghu standard age are within the error range, and the weighted average age shows an excellent agreement with the previously reported data. The zircon sample JD47 from Linglong granite in Jiaodong is analyzed, its 206Pb/238U weighted average age(154.3±2.1 )Ma agrees with SHRIMP data reported previously. Comparing with LAICPMS, the LAMCICPMS zircon UPb dating method (24μm) in this paper has the advantages of high accuracy, short ablation time and high spatial resolution.
