The radon content in geothermal fluid of DR1 geothermal well in Xueyehu reaches 379.74~563.33Bq/L. It is a rare geothermal radon spring resource. In order to find out the distribution characteristics and formation mechanism of radon springs in Xueyehu area, resistivity joint profile measurement, controllable source audio frequency magnetotelluric method (CSAMT) measurement, radon test in soil, radon test in water have been carried out. Radon springs (radon anomalies) in the study area are distributed in the magmatic rock intrusion area, which is controlled by fault structural fracture zone and intrusion contact fracture zone. The widely developed acidic granitoids in the study area provide material source conditions for the formation of geothermal radon springs. The fracture zone of fault structure provides spatial conditions for the migration and enrichment of groundwater and radon. It is also the channel for the communication of deep heat source. The geothermal radon spring is formed under the control of fault structure.
