Abstract:The Kunyushan rock is a multistage complex. It is located between Mishan fault and Muping fault in Jiaodong Peninsula. It is a transitional zone between the north China Craton and Sulu UHP metamorphic belt. The types of regional gold mineralization are magmatic hydrothermal type related to Mesozoic Yanshan period granite. Based on analysis and study of geophysical prospecting, geochemical exploration, remote sensing, natural heavy sand information extraction and gold deposit (spot) bed inspection results in the eastern margin of Kunyushan rock mass, three key working areas of gold deposits, such as Xiawulong, Wugezhuang and Wanjiakou have been divided. Based on the study of metallogenic regularity of gold deposits in the key working areas, it is confirmed that gold deposits in the area are mostly related to finegrained granites and Linglong sequence granite. Comprehensive prospecting model of gold deposits in Kunyushan area has been established, and nine prospecting target areas have been circled.
