Abstract:Tai'an City is located in middel of the mountain areas in Shandong province. It has complicated terrain and geological conditions. It is the area of happening collapse, landslide and debris flow frenquently. Under the condition of heavy rainfall, geological disasters happen frequently, which has restricted the development of local social economy. Through statistical analysis on the development conditions of collapses, landslides, debris flows and geological hazards in the study area, the relationship between collapse, landslide, debris flow and geological environmental conditions has been explained from the aspects of geomorphology, rock and soil characteristics, geological structure, precipitation, vegetation and human engineering activities. According to the principle of "prevention first, combination of prevention and control, scientific disaster reduction," combining with the characteristics of collapse, landslide and debris flow development in Tai'an city, prevention countermeasures are put forward. It will provide theoretical and technical basis for disaster prevention and reduction in the study area.
