Abstract:Xilaokou gold deposit is a typical gold deposit in the northeast margin of Jiaolai basin. The gold minerals in this area are mainly single grain natural gold with a small amount of silver-gold. The granularity is mostly concentrated in 1~37μm. The shape is star point type, angular type, round type, vein type and branch type. It mainly exists in pyrite, quartz and other particles as inclusion gold, intergranular gold and fissure gold. In addition to Au and Ag, Fe, S, Te, Se, Ni, Co and other elements are detected in the chemical composition, among which Fe, S, Te elements are universal, which is inferred to be the product of medium-shallow mineralization. The average fineness of gold minerals is 864.49, inclusion gold (896.00)→ intergranular gold (861.79)→ fissure gold (846.93). The inclusion gold in pyrite is mainly natural gold. It has the highest fineness and reflects the highest formation temperature.
