The combination of laser ablation (LA) and multicollectorinductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry (MCICPMS) has been widely used in the field of geoscience in recent years. It is very suitable for studying the internal compositions and distributions of minerals in a micro perspective. Coherent GeoLasPro 193nm LA system and the Thermo Scientific Neptune plus MCICPMS have been combined together by Shandong Institute of Geological Sciences, and the high resolution in situ UPb zircon dating method has been established. According to this method, situ UPb age determination of zircon standard samples 91500, GJ1 and pleOvice has been carried out. The experimental results show that the test results of this method are consistent with the recommended value within the error range, which verifies the accuracy, precision and stability of the instrument and the effectiveness of the test method flow system.
