The effect of the excavating deformation on the surrounding environment should be extremely limited in the excavation of metro transfer station. Although there are some differences between the analysis results with and without fluid and solid coupling effect, few studies focus on the excavating deformation of the transfer station with considering the fluid and solid coupling effect. In this paper, a threedimensional finite element model with the fluid and solid coupling effect has been established aimed to perform analysis of simulation results based on the background of the metro transfer station at Ji'nan Long Distance Bus Station. The locations of maximum lateral displacement of diaphragm wall and the maximum ground settlement are determined according to the simulation results. Furthermore, the deformation law of the foundation pit of the metro transfer station has been summarized and analyzed. It will provide useful references for the analysis and calculation in similar underground engineering excavation and construction design.
