Abstract:After the last glacial period, under the influence of the holocene megathermal period and regional subsidence, transgression has generally developed along the coast of the Bohai Bay. The Weibei Plain on the west bank of the Bohai Bay has experienced the largest Holocene flooding, after the sea retreated, several ancient coast lines have been left in the process, and many coastal relics, such as chenier and oysterreefs have been formed. Two oyster reefs in Changjiacun and Houliujia are newly discovered in the area. The carbon isotope agea are (5130±30)a B.P. and (6030±30)a B.P.Through study on Holocene marineterrestrial interaction sedimentation relationship and the distribution of marine strata in the area, combining with dating and modern remote sensing image data, the change of sea level in Weibei Plain since Holocene has been summarized, and 6 coast lines from 6000 a B.P. to 1989 AD. have been restored.
