Abstract:Through hydrogeological survey in water deficient areas of intrusive rocks in Yishui county,by using geophysical prospecting, hydrogeological drilling, pumping test and other working means, occurrence regularity of groundwater has been analyzed, and water storage structure modes have been determined, including fracture zone, ductile shear zone and intrusive contact zone. The fracture type water storage structure is generally linear, and its water yield is controlled by mechanical properties, development scale and catchment conditions of the fault, and the water inflow of a single well varies greatly. The ductile shear zone type water storage structure is developed in a plane shape, the buried depth of the aquifer is generally less than 65m, and the water inflow of a single well is generally greater than 100m3/d. The development characteristics of intrusive contact zone type water storage structure vary with the shape of intrusive body, and it is generally banded. The water abundance is controlled by the connectivity of contact zone, lithology of surrounding rock and catchment conditions, and the water inflow of single well is generally 100~500m3/d.Through analysis on recharge, runoff and discharge of groundwater, water-rich characteristics and water supply significance of different storage structures, suggestions for water prospecting and well drilling in water deficient areas of intrusive rocks have been put forward.
