Abstract:By the end of December 2020,there are 133 potential geological hazards in Tai'an city,including collapse,landslides,debris flows and karst collapse. Geological background,current development characteristics of geological disasters and main factors, including the geological structure,landform,rock and soil features,precipitation and human engineering activities have been introduced in this paper. By using grid data processing method, Tai'an city is divided into 2381 cells (2km × 2km). By using comprehensive risk index method of geological hazards, based on the conditions of Tai'an city and geological environment and human engineering activities,Tai'an city is divided into high,medium,low easy happening areas and uneasy happening areas. According to the principles and methods of geological disaster prevention and control,the city is divided into key prevention and control areas,subkey prevention areas and general prevention and control areas. At the same time,suggestions have been put forward. It will provide basic data for prevention and control of geological disasters and emergency rescue work in Tai'an city.
