Abstract:For many mines in karst area, the mining process often faces the problem of underground water inrush, which will threaten the safety of mine production and the lives of operators. Part of the karst water mines are comprehensively affected by stratum lithology, occurrence, and development characteristics of structural belts. Channels with large scale and concentration is the underground channel. By using ground geophysical prospecting, drilling survey, ultrasonic logging and connection test comprehensive exploration technology, distribution range of main water channel developed in the footwall of F4 fault in a certain mine is effectively identified. At the same time, the surface drilling and grouting technology are used to block the water, which completely cut off the hydraulic connection between the water gushing point of the mine - 30m sump and the regional strong karst underground aquifer, and greatly reduced the mine drainage. The research results can be used for references to guide the water inrush control of similar karst mines.
