Abstract:Based on hydrogeological survey with the scale of 1∶50000 in Juxian county in low hilly area in southeast Shandong province, hydrogeological conditions in the lower reaches of Shuhe River are discussed in detail. The groundwater types in the area are divided into four types: loose rock pore water, clastic rock pore fissure water, carbonate rock fissure karst water and bedrock fissure water. Water rich property of water bearing rock group has been summarized, the characteristics of groundwater recharge, runoff, discharge and dynamic change have been analyzed. Three Quaternary pore water rich sections, one clastic rock pore fissure water rich section and one bedrock fissure water rich section are delineated. Two types of water storage structures: stratum water blocking water storage structure and fault water storage structure have been summarized, water rich mechanism has been analyzed, and the allowable exploitation amount has been puts forward. Based on water rich block in the area, 10 hydrogeological boreholes with water supply significance have been constructed with a total water inflow of 7 017.84m3/d, which can solve the water use of nearly 100000 people in the area, and irrigate more than 393.33hm2 of farmland. It has a guiding significance for water exploration and well location in the future.
