Abstract:Through carrying out land quality geochemical survey and evaluation with the scale of the 1∶50000 in Huantai county, geochemical parameters of surface soil are studied and geochemical background values are determined. Comparing these background values with average values of Shandong province and Zibo city, it is found that the contents of Se, Corg, N, P, Zn, Hg, Cd, V, F, I and B in the soil are significantly higher than the average values in Shandong province, while the contents of Se, I, P, N, Hg and Cd are significantly higher than the average values in Zibo city, and the content of Se in the soil is higher than the average value in Shandong province and Zibo city. Cluster analysis and factor analysis are carried out to the surface soil. According to the result of clustering analysis group and spatial distribution characteristics of each factor score, combining with soil types, landforms, land use types in the study area, and comprehensively considering various factors that affect the contents of elements, the surface soil in the study area is divided into five geochemical divisions with different combination characteristics of elements. It is showed that the distribution characteristics of soil elements are mainly controlled by geological background, and human activities affect soil elements content in certain degree.
