Abstract:A large amount of fine tailings are usually produced in the separation process of gold mines after grinding operation. Sanshandao gold deposit has a large amount of tailings and abundant tailings resources. But the content of valuable elements in the tailings is not high, and the abundant nonmetallic mineral resources in the tailings have not been effectively recovered and utilized. In this paper, the exploration of recovery of valuable elements, the classification and purification, the surface modification and the preparation of PP, PE parent feedstock with Sanshandao gold tailings as the main raw material were studied. The PP and PE parent feedstock prepared with the classification purified tailings as a substitute material for calcium carbonate has good performance indexes. It can realize energy conservation and emission reduction, and reduce the environmental burden and reducing the consumption of rubber raw materials.
