Abstract:The karst collapse points in Tai'an city are mainly located in urban water sources and Jiuxian water sources, which have a serious impact on the production and life of local residents. It is urgent to find out the scope of the exposed collapse points and the location of the hidden karst caves for targeted treatment. Throught application of geological radar, highdensity electrical method and shallow earthquake, the known soil caves,hidden karst caves and known collapse points have been detected. Drilling verification was carried out on the anomalies detected in Dongyanglou village and Yangxi village, and the results are in good agreement. Through analysis and research, it is regarded that GPR can better distinguish the location of shallow soil caves, shallow seismic exploration depth is large, which can more accurately distinguish the thickness of overburden and the spatial location of hidden karst caves, but the resolution of shallow soil caves is low, shallow soil caves and hidden karst caves have obvious reflection on the highdensity electrical resistivity section map, and their resolution is lower than that of geological radar and shallow karst caves earthquake. According to the advantages of different geophysical methods, combining with geological conditions of the working area, the optimization scheme of comprehensive geophysical method for detecting concealed karst has been proposed.
