Abstract:Hard clay and its symbiotic bauxite deposit in A layer in zibo city in Shandong province mainly occur in the orebearing rock system of the "A" layer at the bottom of Wanshan formation in Permian shibozi group. The ore bodies occur as stratoid and lenticular shape respectively. Hard clay in A layer is widely distributed in this area, while the symbiotic bauxite deposit are mainly distributed in DongbaoshanDongchongshan area. The form and structure of the two ore bodies are simple and the grade is even. The vertical distribution of the two ore bodies is in a gradual relation with different colors and structures under the influence of the sedimentary environment. The thickness of the ore body is uniform, which is positively correlated with the content of Al2O3 and SiO2, and negatively correlated with the content of Fe2O3. The total contents of Al2O3, Fe2O3 and SiO2 in the ore are generally between 83.5%~85.5%, and the contents of three minerals have a relationship of rise and fall in different ores.
