Abstract:According to the distribution characteristics of salt deposits, Bugumaxi potash deposit can be divided into south section and north section with the Kouilou River as the boundary. By using 2D earthquake, drilling, rock and mineral testing and other technical means, two ore sections have been explored in detail. According to comparative analysis of the sedimentary characteristics, lithology and 2D earthquake characteristics of the two ore sections, although the two ore sections are in the Congo Basin, there is a certain difference in sedimentary characteristics. The ore deposits in the southern ore section are relatively stable, while the northern ore section is affected by the fault structure. There are many cracks, dissolution, and collapse in the upper part of the salt deposit, which has caused the lack of sedimentation in the Ⅲ and IV lithologic sections in the north ore section.
