Abstract:Shandong province is located in the southeast margin of the North China plate in the first tectonic zone of the mainland of China. The tectonic action and magmatism, especially Neoarchean and Mesozoic granitic magmatism is very strong, and formed a large number of granites. It has formed the material basis for various granite geomorphology in Shandong province. Based on survey results of important geological relics in Shandong province, combining with the distribution pattern of granites, three different granite landscape zones have been divided, they are Luxi uplift area of the North China plate, Jiaoliao uplift area and uplift area of Sulu orogenic belt. From the view of modeling and viewing, the granite landforms in Shandong province can be divided into five categories, they are peak cluster type, peak forest type, hilly type, stone egg type, and cavetype granite topography landscape. Taking Taishan Mountain, Mengshan Mountain, Wulian Jiuxianshan Mountain, Lianqingshan Mountain, Yishan Mountain as typical examples, the characteristics of landscape of various types of granite and the formation process have been discussed. At the same time, main internal and external factors affecting the granite landscape have been studied as well.
