Abstract:Based on geochemical measurements results of stream sediments system with the scale of 1∶50000, 14 elements of 3138 samples have been tested, such as Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, Ag, W, Sn, Mo, Bi, As, Sb, Cr, Co and Ni. It is showed that Au, Ag, Cu, Ni are the most potential metallogenic indexs in the region. The cluster analysis is divided into four kinds of element clusters, which are mainly related to the middle and low temperature ore-forming elements, southern margin faults of Altun and ophiolite. Through factor analysis, six kinds of element combinations have been obtained, including NiCrAsSb CuBi, WBiAsCu, BiW, As, AgZnPb, CuBiAs. Among them, Cr, Ni, Sb, Cu, As, Bi assemblages reflect that they are related to low-temperature hydrothermal activity and faulted structural activity; the enrichment of Cr, Ni elements is mainly related to Yesanggang ophiolite melange belt in the study area; Ag, Pb, Zn assemblages are closely related to local enrichment of low-temperature hydrothermal elements and faulted structural activity. Based on comprehensive analysis and verification of anomalies, combining with regional metallogenic geological conditions and geological characteristics of the minerals in the area, two prospecting areas are delineated and divided. It is pointed out that main dominant minerals in the study area are gold, copper, silver and nickel, while lead and zinc are potential minerals.
