Abstract:Few research has been made about the division of metallogenic belts in Shandong peninsular sea area. In this paper, the gravity and magnetic anomalies of Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea have been summarized by using marine gravity and magnetic data. Bougucr gravity anomalies are negative in Bohai Sea and the north Yellow Sea, but it is opposite in the North of South Yellow Sea. It is showed that Bohai Sea is a positive magnetic anomaly area, but the Yellow Sea is a negative magnetic anomaly area. The sea area tectonic units are divided into 10 tectonic units with the level of Ⅲ based on the gravity and magnetic anomalies and terrestrial tectonic units. The sea area tectonic unit is an extension of the land area to the sea area except for the units in Bozhong Depression and the North Yellow Sea Basin. Referring to the division of the territorial metallogenic belts and the boundary of the sea area structural units, the sea area is divided into 6 metallogenic areas with the level of Ⅳ. The characteristics of each metallogenic area are different. The depression areas are rich in oil and gas minerals. Chengning uplift is rich in coal. Jiaobei uplift is rich in gold, magnesite, coal and limestone. Qianliyan uplift is rich in gold, serpentine, asbestos and granite.
