Abstract:Aktekshan area in Qinghai province is dominated by skarn type molybdenum, copper, and leadzincsilver polymetallic deposits. The orebearing construction mainly occur in Paleoproterozoic carbonatebearing strata and Hercynian granodiorite. The contact zone and the samarium skarn are controlled by structures, such as contact zones, fractures and interlaminar fracture zones. Therefore, looking for orecontrolling structures and rock masses can achieve the purpose of indirect prospecting. The magnetic anomaly is determined by a highprecision magnetic measuring circle, and the shape, scale and depth of the magnetic geological body can be determined by interpreting the shape and scale of the magnetic anomaly. On the highprecision ΔT contour plan, the fracture and interlayer fracture zone are mainly characterized by beaded and stripshaped linear anomaly zones. The boundary between rock mass and stratum is usually characterized by a distinct lowgradation zonetransition zone. Concealed rock mass mainly manifested as a local negative anomaly (or relatively low) in the background of a positive magnetic field. In the search for skarn type copper polymetallic deposit, highprecision magnetic measurement can effectively delineate the mediumacid rock mass and structure, and achieve the purpose of indirect prospecting. It also provide a reliable basis for drilling engineering verification.
