Abstract:Dongyaozhuang gold deposit in Shanxi province is one of the typical greenstone belt type gold deposits in China. It mainly occurs in the light-colored metamorphic greenschist of Hongmen formation in Neoarchean Wutai group. The lithology of the ore-bearing belt is mainly silicified sericite sodium feldspar schist and sericite sodium feldspar schist with obvious strata bound characteristics. The Geological-geophysical-geochemical prospecting model of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit has been established in this paper. Four geochemical anomalies and two IP anomalies have been delineated in the exploration area around Dongyaozhuang gold deposit by means of petro geochemical prospecting and electrical prospecting. Among them, comprehensive anomaly of geochemical prospecting No. 1 coincides well with the electrical anomaly and is presumed to be ore-induced anomaly. Through IP sounding, it is inferred that geological body is a lens body with shallow burial depth. The comprehensive geophysical and geochemical exploration method is to use the primary geochemical anomalies caused by element migration during the formation of greenstone belt type gold deposits and the electrical differences between the main gold-bearing minerals-pyrite and surrounding rocks to delineate the prospecting target area in the process of prospecting and exploration, and achieves good results. It will provide a basis for the next drilling verification work.
