Abstract:Limestone resources mining has a long history in Huiquanyu area of Mengyin county. Extensive mining has caused serious damage and occupancy of mountain and surrounding land. The mine has been abandoned for years. In order to eliminate visual pollution and geological hazards of damaged mountain and reduce soil erosion around the mountain, a comprehensive ecological restoration project for abandoned mines has been implemented. Through basic geological survey and current situation mapping of mining area, present condition of abandoned mines and geological environment problems have been comprehensively analyzed. Combining with relevant requirements of building slopes, structural design, analysis on geological conditions, rock mass characteristics of quarry facade and surrounding infrastructure in mining area, the mode of concrete sheet pile retaining wall innovatively to repair the mining surface has been introduced, and the effectiveness and applicable conditions of comprehensive management mode have been analyzed. It will provide some references for comprehensive management of open mining mines.
