Abstract:Due to rapid urbanization and land use change, the naturally permeable surface is changed into a hard and impervious surface, which changes the runoff and runoff rate of rainwater and affects the natural hydrological cycle. As a result, many cities in China will have serious urban waterlogging problems when encountering rainstorm weather. Green roofs, as urban green infrastructure, play an important role in urban flood management. According to the analysis, in different rainfall events, the runoff interception rate of green roofs is between 50% and 80%. The extensive application of green space not only effectively alleviates the problem of waterlogging in urban areas, but also provides a more beautiful space for people living and working in the urban environment. At present, the construction of sponge city is also facing a series of challenges, such as high construction cost, complex management organization, and inconsistent infrastructure design standards, etc. Therefore, in the process of sponge city construction, each city should complete the construction step by step according to its own ability.
