Abstract:The influence and recovery of tectonic uplift on river system and topography have been analyzed in this paper. Regarding karst conglomerate points which outcropped sporadically in country rocks in Paleozoic limestone with large area as the study object, a new attempt for the restoration and inversion of regional Palaeo water system and landform has been made. On the basis of data collection and field measurement, technical methods forrecovering Palaeo topographic and paleogomorphology regionally by using elevation inversion uplift height of stable water reference materials and Palaeo elevation and Palaeo water system in adjacent area have been studied. Taking Baiyan area as an example, through analyzing the distribution, occurrence, diamond mineral content, and lithology of karst conglomerate, Palaeogeographic geomorphology, such as Palaeo topographic line, the location of the Palaeo water system and flow have been recovered. It is pointed out that four water systems have been developed in this area in Baiyan period, they are Dashiqiang water system in Zoucheng city, Zaozhuang water system, Pingyi water system andFeixian water system.Conglomerate points with rich diamond content in the water system mostly locate in the center of Fenghuangshan uplift.There is also an ancient lake in mountain canyon in Pingyi water system. It is considered that diamond contained in the Kimberley vein in Mengshan area in Mengshan uplift may mainly supply the water system in Pingyi area. The diamond in other three regions may originate from Fenghuangshan and the uplift and erosion areas in its eastern part.
