Abstract:Shaling gold deposit belongs is located in the middle and south section of Jiaojia fault. It is a typical Jiaojia type gold deposit. The discovered gold resource is 389.2t. It is a gold deposit with largest average exploration depth in China now. In order to further explore the deep metallogenic potential of Saling gold deposit, on the basis of geological work outside the field, selecting the core samples of drilling rock, by using the method of structural superimposed halo, geochemical characteristics and primary halo zoning characteristics of the main orebody I2 have been studied. A structural superimposed halo model has been established and deep prospecting has been predicted. It is showed that AsSbHg are good indicator elements for the front halo, AuAgCuPbZn are good indicator elements for the near halo, and BiMoWSn are good indicator elements for the tail halo. The "antizoning" phenomenon, occurring in the structural superimposed halo of the main ore body I2 indicates that the Yaoling gold deposit has multistage haloforming characteristics. In the tail of the ore body, there exists the phenomenon of coexistence and superposition of the leading edge halo and the tail halo. It is indicated that there is a good prospect in the deep part. The blind ore exists in the deep part (below 1600m) of the side direction of the ore body, and the predicted target elevation is 1600 m~ 2000 m.
