Abstract:In this paper, the effect of comprehensive geophysical exploration by using high density electric method, transient electromagnetic method and seismic frequency resonance method in the investigation of ground collapse geological hazards caused by karst caves have been discussed. According to physical property differences of Quaternary strata, limestone and karst cave filling materials in this area, the distribution characteristics of geophysical anomalies in karst caves and subsidence areas have been analyzed and studied. Combining with drilling verification, the distribution range of karst caves and surface subsidence areas in the investigated area has been effectively delineated. It will provide a scientific basis for the investigation and prevention of geological disasters. Combining with the effect of comprehensive geophysical exploration, the effectiveness and limitation of high density electric method, transient electromagnetic method and seismic frequency resonance method in detecting karst caves and subsidence areas have been analyzed.
