Abstract:Beixinzhuang iron deposit is located in the west of Lanling county in Shandong province, east of Cangyi iron ore belt, and east of Baishuiniushi fault. It is controlled by the south wing of Shiyan anticline, and belongs to “Anshantype” sedimentary metamorphic iron deposit. The ore bodies occur in layers with a strike of 265°~275°, a dip of south, and an inclination of 45°~60°. The shallow and deep ore bodies of the deposit belong to the adjacent exploration rights of Beixinzhuangbei and Beixinzhuangnan. The exploration history and control degree are different. After the multistage exploration of the ore body in the northern prospecting area of Beixinzhuang, the maximum control depth has reached 600m. In recent years, deep exploration has been carried out in Benxinzhuangnan. It is found that the deep part of the ore body has extended to this area. There is still a stable extension along the strike and dip at the depth of 1000m~1400m. Through comparative analysis of the shape, scale and quality of the ore body in the shallow and deep part of the deposit, it is found that the ore body has a simple shape and structure, uniform and continuous mineralization, no significant change in ore quality, and a slight positive correlation between grade and thickness. The ore body has a slight trend of thickness thinning and grade depletion in the deep part. The thickness of the gently inclined part is enlarged, the mineralization is enriched, the thickness of the steeply inclined part is thinned, and the grade is depleted. The ore body still meets the requirement of industrial ore bodies at the depth of 1400 m. The blank section of the prospecting part in the middle deposit, the deep and peripheral parts of the deposit still have good resource prospects.
