Abstract:Based on the grading results of agricultural land classification, setting Xiajin county in Shandong province as an example, the delineation of cultivated land quality monitoring area and the layout of monitoring samples by means of GIS technology and geostatistics have been studied. It is showed that by using ArcGIS spatial analysis function, superimposing natural quality zoning, using horizontal zoning, economic horizontal zoning and land use characteristics zoning, and adjusting without breaking the original administrative village boundary, 21 arable land quality monitoring areas have been classified in Xiajin county. According to distribution ratio of the monitoring area, comprehensive consideration of natural quality and other control areas, utilization of equivalent areas, economic equivalent areas, land use zoning and comprehensive coverage of monitoring samples, the location and quantity of the monitoring sample layout have been adjusted, and 36 monitoring samples have been arranged within the monitoring area of the cultivated land quality level in Xiajin county. The research results will provide certain reference value for relevant government departments to carry out the monitoring and protection of cultivated land.
