Abstract:Hariquelu copper deposit is located in Buqingshan tectonic melange belt in the southern margin of eastern Kunlun mountains. Faults with the trend of NWW developed well, and magmatic activities are frequent. Magmatic hydrothermal fluid creates conditions for the activation, migration and enrichment of oreforming elements. The study area is divided into two ore sections and eight copper orebodies. Among them, Ⅰ2 orebody is the main orebody in the area. The orebearing rocks are fragmentationed basalt and siltstone. The ore bodies occur as stratoid, the copper content is 0.21%~2.22%, and average grade is 0.84%. It mainly includes brass mineralization, yellow iron mineralization, and peacock petrochemicals. Copper orebodies mainly occur in thin sandstone intercalated with basalt of Ma'erzheng formation. It is considered as the main exploration layers in the future.
