Goukou gold deposit in Naomuhun area of Dulan county in Qinghai province is located in the north of Kunzhong tectonic belt. The fault structures are well developed in the area and the gold mineralization conditions are favorable. The distribution of fault structures related to gold mineralization in the area has been basically identified by means of IP middle elevator survey. Two IP anomalies have been circled. The geophysical anomalies have been verified by means of trench and tunnel prospecting. It is proved that geophysical anomalies are caused by sulfide enrichment bodies in structural fracture zones, and the corresponding peaks of gold mineralization bodies and anomalies are basically coincide. Finally, a hidden gold deposit has been discovered. It is showed that geophysical anomalies have obtained results in prospecting for hidden gold deposits. Based on comprehensive analysis of structural factors, geophysical anomalies and existing metallogenic facts, it is considered that the area has a good prospecting prospect.
