Abstract:In recent years, rapid progress has been made in the exploration of rare earth deposits in the southwestern Fucheng uplift in western Shandong province. There are three secondary radioactivity anomalies, they are г2261, г2262 and г2263 respectively. The г2263 anomaly corresponds to the known Pushan rare earth deposit. As showed by previous work, the rare earth deposit has the characteristics of "rock mass and structure" combining orecontrolling, that is, the rare earth deposit is controlled by Xishan complex and various types of (structural) contact zone in Mesozoic Yanshan period. The metallogenic age is early Cretaceous (110~119Ma), which is basically consistent with other rare earth deposits in western Shandong province.The oreforming fluids are high concentration, medium temperature fluids and alkaline magma differentiation fluids. The area with strong radioactivity is most favorable for prospecting rare earth minerals.
