Abstract:There are 27 ceramic clay (chinastone) mining areas in Shandong province. The reserves of resources are 49316.8 ten thousand tons, accounting for 25.54% of the identified reserves and ranking the second in China. The protolith of magmatic ceramic earth (porcelain stone) deposit in Shandong province are mainly rock veins and rock caps of Yanshanian shallow granite porphyry, quartz porphyry, fine-grained rock and feldspar. The protoliths of the volcanic-sedimentary ceramics clay (porcelain stone) deposit are mainly acid-intermediate acid rhyolitic vitreoclastic rocks and vitreous lavas in the continental volcanic rock series of Shiqianzhuang formation of Early Cretaceous Qingshan group. Porcelain ore bodies are closely related to acid granite (porphyry) dikes, and altered granite (porphyry) rocks are the direct indicators of looking for porphyry.
