Abstract:On the basis of field reconnaissance and drilling, the slope topography, stratigraphic lithology, geological structure, hydrogeological conditions, engineering geological conditions and human engineering activities of Tongzui collapse in Gaofeng village of Zongyang county have been analyzed. Based on the deformation displacement monitoring, the development characteristics, influencing factors and formation mechanism of the collapse disasters in the study area have been analyzed, and the stability of slope has been calculated by limit equilibrium method. It is showed that the scales of the two collapse disasters are small and the failure modes are all slipping. The influencing factors mainly include artificial slope cutting, strong weathering of K-feldspar granite, tectonic fracture, weathering fissure and unloading fissure development and heavy rainfall. The two collapse disasters are in a basically stable state under natural conditions, and they are in an unstable state under heavy rain conditions, and relevant treatment measures need to be taken. Based on the results of the analysis and evaluation, recommendations for prevention and treatment of the two collapse disasters have been put forward.
