Abstract:Concrete aggregate has an important influence on the working performance and durability of concrete. It has been paid more and more attention. In this paper, selecting Hutoushi finegrained monzonitic granite of Weideshan sequence in Xiazhuang area of Rongcheng city as the research object, suitability of this area as concrete aggregate has been evaluated. Through field surveys and a large number of analytical and test data, petrology, lithology, petrochemistry and rock materials of granite in Hutoushi group have been studied. It is believed that the quality of stone materials in the area is good, and the measured indicators can all meet C60 concrete technical requirements. It is determined that it is suitable for use as a concrete aggregate above C60, and suggestions are put forward for the next mining and utilization.
