Abstract:There are two dark jade deposits in the mining area. They are lenticular and vein-like type and distributed in the shape of "一" with the trend of NW. The two depsits have branch and compounding phenomena. The overall trend is 315°, the inclination is NE, inclination is 52°~61°. Jade has fine texture, black-green hue, poor transparency, glass or waxy luster. The average Morse hardness is 4.18, and average density is 2.84g/cm3. Radioactive index is low, with scaly and blade crystal structure, flake and block structure. The deposit belongs to ultrabasic rock metamorphic deposit. Rocks and Yanlingguan formation in Taishan Group are obviously intrusive relation. The ore body is controlled by the tensional fracture structure. It has the exclusive mineral assemblages and rock types formed in the magmatic and metamorphic stages. The deposit scale is small.
