Abstract:Geological work is an important foundation of national economic construction and social development. It is closely related to the construction of ecological civilization. Accompanying with rapid development of social economy, especially since the 19th National Congress of the CPC, people's yearning for a better life is becoming more and more intense. Geological prospecting units should change their thoughts of development, expand their service areas of geological work, actively explore new ideas and new models of geological work serving ecological civilization construction, provide geological and technical support for water ecological protection, assist in soil pollution prevention and control, promote rational development and utilization of urban underground space, and provide omni-directional support services of ecological civilization construction.
