Based on the thermal response test conducted in a homogeneous formation site, through analysis and comparasion of geothermal data and steadystate temperature field at different, from the aspects of time and space, heat conduction characteristics of homogeneous rock mass surrounding the borehole tube under the unsteady state condition have been summarized. It is found that the distribution characteristics of the unsteady geothermal field of the surrounding strata in the vertical heat dissipation process of this experiment are consistent with the steadystate geothermal field distribution formed by the heat source heat removal of the homogeneous infinite medium obtained by the formula. The influence radius of the vertical buried pipe under continuous heatdischarging conditions is a dynamic value, which is highly correlated with the duration of heat removal.
